How much do shirts cost?
Each order is unique and prices vary due to garment style, print colors, print locations, quantity and design. At Sportfit custom gear, we have a wide variety of products and applications to choose from. If you have a budget please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
What is the minimum size order?
For print there's a 24 piece minimum for 1-3 color design, 48 piece minimum for 4-5 color design and 72 piece-minimum for 6-8 color and four color process designs. Embroidery minimum is 12 pieces. The greater the volume of goods the more you will save on your order. We provide very competitive pricing on all our orders. We can also handle larger runs for sporting events, stadium give-aways, concerts and festivals. Direct to garment call for further details.
What is the turn around time?
Once artwork is approved, it typically takes 7-10 days for shirt orders to be ready for shipping. Some promotional items may have a longer turn-around time of 2-3 weeks. Service and quality is our specialty and we do everything we can to meet your special needs. Therefore, schedules and additional costs for expedient turn around times can be quoted. Normal turn around times are quoted in working business days, and do not include weekends or holidays. Orders received after 12:00 noon will be scheduled as received the following day. Due to the possibility of file problems and technical malfunctions, time sensitive jobs should be planned in advance. Turn-around times reflect an average completion time of normal orders. These times are not guaranteed.
Are there setup fees?
Yes, screen printing requires a screen for each color in the design. It's a very time consuming process to setup for an order. It takes the same amount of time for 12 pieces as it does for a ten thousand piece order. The fee for each screen is typically $20 for normal screens and $35 for four color process. If you have an especially large order, it might be possible to get your setup fee waived including for reorders.
Do you charge for logo design, touch-ups or creating artwork?
Yes, there is an artwork fee but depending on size of the order we may be able to waive this fee. Typically if there’s a fee it’s usually less than $40. We are not able to provide artwork proofs until the deposit has been paid in advance.
Can I use my own design?
Yes, you can use any design but it must provided in a print-ready file. Formats allowed: .EPS, .AI, .JPEG, .PSD or .PDF. Your file will not be considered print-ready if files are low resolution. We do not provide a guarantee of a color match due to the fact that colors appear differently on computer monitors. The easy solution for matching colors is to provide a PMS color and we'll make every effort to match it.
Are we able to mix multiple shirt colors and styles?
Yes, mixing styles of garments, sizes and colors is ok. There may be a small fee if a color change is needed. For embroidery, there are no extra fees for changing thread color. Screen printing orders there is a $10 ink color charge per screen if necessary. Different artwork is considered a new order.
Do you match competitor prices?
At Sportfit custom gear, our customers are repeat customers because we provide quality products at competitive rates. When shopping for screen printing and embroidery services, make sure not to just look at the price, but also the quality of the services being offered. Paying the lowest price might not be to your benefit. If you’re not happy with your current printer it’s usually due to them undercutting prices and in the end you get what you pay for - cheaper is not always better. At Sportfit custom gear, each client is unique and our pricing system is based on many variables with quality being our top priority. We've been in the business for over 20 years and undercutting is not how we do things.
Can orders be shipped?
Yes, orders are shipped via UPS.
Can I see the first shirt on press for approval?
No, we do not allow press checks. However, we do offer a digital rendering for approval before we go to press. This process has worked great over the years with no issues.
Can I exchange my printed garments if they don't fit?
We do not allow exchanges for custom orders that were already completed. This is due to the fact that we have created your order to match all of your specific criteria. We can provide blank samples in advance so this should never be an issue.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we do accept most major credit cards and debit cards as well as cash or check.
All tax exempt businesses must enclose a tax exempt form with their first order. If the tax exempt form is not received, appropriate state sales tax will be charged. Out of state businesses receive zero tax.
A 50% deposit is required with each order on approval of quote. The balance and freight charges are due upon delivery. Out of State Checks require 5-7 Business Days to Process. *There is a $30.00 charge for returned checks.
